Here are some suggestions for students as they study for tests: |
· Review your notes. Write summaries of the big ideas from each day’s notes. |
· Memorize lyrics from Mr. Toomajian’s pop songs to remember important facts. |
· Visit regentsprep.org, go to U.S. History, click on Multiple Choice Questions, and answer the questions related to the "Progressive Movement." |
· Complete your VocabBank (vocabulary review sheet) and use it to quiz yourself. |
· Talk to your classmates about the material. Teach and learn from each other. |
· Visit hiphughes.blogspot.com, scroll down and click on “SchoolTube Lectures,” click on the link for U.S. History videos, and watch lectures related to the topics on the test. |
· E-mail mtoomajian@schools.nyc.gov if you have questions. |

there easier way to study for some people. the way that i study is by review my notes 2 or 3 weeks before any test , then a week later then 2 days before the test and then the day before the test. and you would memorize every thing like A BOOK !!! its really going to stick , but you got to make sure that you understand what you studying. - sonia cerdeno 903
